Dr. Brice Mandaville
Brice came to Seguin in 2001 after serving with our International Mission Board nad pastoring several other churches. He and his wife Denise have one daughter (Lauren). Brice is a graduate of Hardin Simmons University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Josh began his career in ministry over twelve years ago. He grew up in Rusk, TX but left for Kansas after graduating from Rusk High School. While in Kansas, Josh earned his Bachelors of Science in Ministry from Central Christian College. He is currently working on his Masters degree in Christian Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminiary. In July 2016, Josh married Lauren Bybee from San Antonio, Texas. Together, the Tylich's enjoy spending time with family, friends, and their dog Bella.
Minister of Music
Howard leads the music ministry of the church. Howard attended Seguin High School and has music degrees from the University of Texas and Texas State University. He retired from Texas State (Director of Orchestral Studies) as Professor Emeritus in 2014. He and his wife Marianne have two daughters, Sarah and Edye.
Rhonda joined the First Baptist family in the summer of 2010. She has worked in education for the past twenty years and served in various church ministries throughout the years. She holds a Bachelor's degree from Texas State and a Master's of Education Administration degree from Wayland Baptist University. She and her husband have three children.
Holly is the youngest daughter of Bob and Carolyn Whitener and grew up at First Baptist Church. After graduating from Seguin High School, Holly moved to Beeville, then later Corpus Christi to attend school. Upon graduating from Texas A&M - Corpus with a Bachelor's degreee in Political Science, Holly pursued work and life there in Corpus. She became active in a local church and enjoyed the tropical, yet humed climate for 10+ years. She married in 2013 and after her son was born, she decided it was time to move back to Seguin, to be closer to family.
Jeff came to Seguin and FBC in 2012 after twenty years in New York City. He joined the FBC staff in February of 2015. He and his wife Summer have three sons: Tristan, Jordan and Sevrin. Jeff has an undergraduate degree from Tufts University and graduate degrees in public and business administration from NYU and the University of Chicago.
